SEA CONFERENCE 2025 – CALL FOR PAPERS

SEA Conference
Saturday 8th November 2025

We are now inviting submissions for the SEA Annual Conference 2025. Please submit your idea for a workshop or interactive presentation using our submission form.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Right here, right now.” The Existentialist’s Role Today. The theme invites us to explore; What does existentialism have to offer the world today? How are we modernising and what keeps us relevant? How is it possible to be on the periphery (in our philosophy and our practice) and still stay connected to the existential challenges occupying individuals and the world right now?

The deadline for submissions is Saturday 21st June.

This year we aim to showcase new speakers along with familiar faces. Please note that presenters will need to attend in person.

Have a seed of an idea that feels a little ‘out there’? We definitely want to hear from you. We want to keep challenging ourselves to connect with what’s real – if you have an idea for a presentation, discussion, dance, workshop or any other form of interaction that gives you a tingling feeling of meaningfulness rather than a running through the motions, submit it! We’ll commit to working with you to see if, together, we can bring something special to the day.

Follow this link to the submission form.

If you have any questions, drop us an email at: conference@existentialanalysis.org.uk.

We look forward to seeing a range of submissions reflecting this unique community of therapists, academics, coaches, philosophers and radicals.

Warm wishes,
Ben Scanlan & Madeleine Brady
