The SEA is looking for volunteers to join our group of hard working, motivated, skilled (and equipped with a great sense of humour) committee members, dealing with the following tasks:

CPD Organiser

  • Organising CPD events on behalf of the SEA such as seminars, workshops, group supervision, etc. Finding suitable venues and budgeting costs and ticket price.
  • Providing CPD certificates to attendees.
  • Looking after attendance and dealing with any relevant queries and liaising with publicity officer and webmaster.
  • Needs to attend EC meetings. 

Webmaster

  • Looking after the running of the SEA website by uploading and editing content and making sure system is operating efficiently. 
  • Receiving and co-ordinating offers of content, comments on style and emphasis etc. and bringing them to SEA meetings for discussion.
  • Needs to attend EC meetings. 

UKCP relations officer

  • Responsible for following and actively taking part in UKCP meetings, consultations and regulatory development.
  • Provides the EC with information regarding the impact of any such developments deemed to have relevance to the practice of Psychotherapy  of SEA UKCP registrants.
  • To liaise with the UKCP Registration Officer where appropriate and to address issues arising from annual renewals and 5 years UKCP reaccreditations.
  • Does not need to attend EC meeting but sends reports when appropriate.
