Being & Doing
What does it mean to be a therapist? What are we doing when we are doing therapy?
We are pleased to announce that the title of the 2015 SEA Conference will be Being & Doing and will be held on Saturday 21st November at the NCVO, London.
Is it enough to be? How do we define what it is we do? What are the challenges we face against a backdrop of funding issues and outcome efficacy?
We are both brand new to the business of conference co-ordinating and are looking to throw open the gates to new ideas and new contributors. We hope SEA members will expand on and contribute their own understandings, experiences or interpretations on Being & Doing. We welcome ideas for groups and workshops and encourage members not only to attend but, to take part.
This year we will be debuting Bite Sized Bits – ten to fifteen minute presentation slots for newly qualified and trainee therapists to showcase their ideas and views. If you’ve always wanted to present but have been put off by the prospect of a full slot then we’d love to hear from you.
We are hoping to produce an engaging, exciting and experiential day.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your ideas for the day and we will be in touch.
We look forward to hearing from you.
